The politics in San Jose, CA, is considered liberal. Meanwhile, the presidential election for 2020 is approaching. It diverts the attention of the public on what will be the outcome. San Jose California also supports the Democratic Party.
As San Jose turns Democratic generally, the conservative democrats can be rare in places they used to be. On the other hand, No Party Preference voters or independents lean on more Republican in some parts of the state. However, there are still issues with their geographic patterns.

Based on his exploratory committee, he will run as Democrat in the 30th Senate District. He was the Playboy’s Chief Creative Officer between 2016 and 2019. He filled the role of his father until his retirement. In an interview, Hefner stated that he decided to run because of his advocacy and desire for public service. He stated that it is important for him to know the difference between being a public servant and a career politician. He is also interested in working and advocating for the people.
Hefner said that he would get into politics because he is concerned about government institutions and the community. His experience in national and local NGOs, he developed an organizational strategy. He believes that working to serve the people and deliver innovative solutions to community problems was the right road for him.
