Support Our Work

We are all friends in the Lord, and it is with the prayers and help - in time and money - of our friends, collaborators and benefactors that the Jesuits are able to continue our work in the service of faith and the promotion of justice in a variety of ways.

Come, share our mission.

Spanish volunteers to Battambang 2016

The Jesuits are fortunate to have many dedicated volunteers working with us in our various ministries and works to serve the poor and the needy.  Indeed, a lot of what we do is possible because of our generous and capable volunteers who share our mission to serve a faith that does justice.

If you are interested in volunteer positions in parts of the Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific other than your own country, please email us at jcapsj [at] sjpac [dot] net.

The work of the Jesuits in the service of faith and the promotion of justice is made possible by the generous support of friends and benefactors who believe in the value of what we do, whether it is running schools and parishes; advocating for disaster risk planning; or accompanying, serving and advocating for the rights of the poor and of migrants.

The Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific initiates and implements projects across the region.  In addition, it supports projects within the smaller regions and missions.

Formation - new Jesuit priest in Myanmar Magis Asia Pacific 2015

The Society of Jesus has a long formation process to prepare priests and brothers for full-time ministry in diverse and changing environments. In addition to formal education, Jesuits are trained in the Spiritual Exercises and are increasingly provided with other short programmes to equip them with leadership, management and technical skills to enable them to turn their hand to whatever work is needed to serve the universal mission. DONATE

The Jesuit Conference of Asia Pacific initiates and coordinates programmes and projects across our provinces and regions every year to better serve the faith and promote justice in Asia Pacific. These cover various apostolic sectors particularly the common priorities of migration, reconciliation with creation and youth, and vary in scope and purpose from skills development to networking for increased cooperation, and from gap analysis to advocacy. DONATE
Xavier Jesuit School Cambodia Colégio Santo Inácio de Loiolá (CSIL)

The Jesuits in Cambodia have an education project in the remote Banteay Meanchey province.  The Xavier Jesuit School has four components: a community learning centre, a small kindergarten and primary school, a medium-sized secondary school and a teacher resource centre. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2022, but the first classes will begin in November 2016. DONATE

The Jesuits in Timor-Leste have an education project in Kasait, a rural area about an hour from Dili. Projeto Educação Jesuíta comprises two institutions: Colégio de Santo Inácio de Loiola, a secondary school, which opened in 2013, and Instituto São João de Brito, a teacher education institute, which had its first intake of student teachers in January 2016. The project is scheduled to be completed in 2020.  DONATE

All of us need the grace, inspiration and strength of God to fulfil the vocation with which God has gifted us. We welcome your prayers for our individual Jesuits and our many lay collaborators, and for the ministries in which we serve. We invite you to become companions with us in our work as you pray with us and for us that everything we do - in prayer, speech and action - may give glory to God.

We thank you for your prayers.
